There is an odd message floating about the web that is somehow drawing swaths of sheep into believing that Illumination is a negative state, or that it is evil. Illumination is naturally associated with Light and of course the original Light Bearer is Lucifer so I suppose the bible- thumpers are working over time on getting that message across these days. Then there is the association between Illumination and the Illuminati, which actually just means “one who is enlightened”. Illuminati are heavily associated with Masonic and Rosicrucian belief systems which are rooted in the ancient mysteries. That might be where it’s all coming from but even so, I do not find anything evil about the ancient mysteries either.
Anyway, and for the record, being Enlightened is not evil. If we look at the precise definition of the word in Websters Dictionary, Enlightened means:
freed from ignorance and misinformation <an enlightened people><an enlightened time>
Are there people out there in the world that are free from ignorance and misinformation that leverage their Knowledge for evil purposes? Of course.
Truth be told, anyone can study the ancient mysteries, unlock unbelievably powerful Knowledge and use it for a whole lot of good yet so few people choose to do that. There seems to be one particular obstacle to achieving this because it means sacrificing what so few of us have, Time.
It takes time and patience to comprehend what it all truly means for you but if you’re dedicated enough to achieve the “first level of understanding” you realise there is no turning back. You’ve let the genie out of the fucking bottle and you just have to keep going. Before too long you discover that there are layers upon layers of symbols and meanings that are all interconnected, they’re leading to something bigger and you can feel it. You know it in your gut that there is something here but just when you think you’ve hit the jackpot, you find yet another piece of the puzzle that takes you further down the rabbit hole. You find yourself changing, you’re not the same person you were when you first set out on this path. Slowly with time you begin to understand that the reality that you ‘perceive’ is only one version of many possibilities and that you have the potential to gain full control and manipulate the outcome of any possible situation.
To reach that state of Knowing, one has to give up so much! If you really want to set that magician within you FREE, you have to constantly FOCUS, continuously maintain an open your mind, be ready to accept a whole new set of ideas; I’m not talking about making a few adjustments to your thought patterns, but literally drop everything you ever learned or were taught to believe, erase all of the dogma, forget everything you think you know about spirituality or God. You have to practically dismantle every single belief system you were programmed to follow, destroy yourself from the inside and with sheer will, push yourself to change things about you which you never believed needed changing. It is this WILL that will enable you to rise like a phoenix from the ashes.
Could this be why only 1% are up to the task?
It’s a lonely process too because in many cases those around you won’t really get it… they won’t be supportive and might even consider an intervention. They most likely will not understand it and you’d be a fool to try to explain it to them UNLESS they themselves have chosen to search for their own Truth. They may mock you, judge you, decide that you’re not ‘normal’ enough. A word of advice: silence is golden. Nobody needs to know and it’s better that way but it makes this journey all the more lonely.
The ancient mysteries as they are commonly referred to are nothing more than tools or guides which have been repeatedly given to us through out time so that we can reach our maximum potential. Not just as physical beings, as people, but as the Self (or what is most commonly described as the Soul). The end-game is to know your Self, who you really are and that is to become one with the Creator within (call it God, Jesus, Buddah, Allah, the source of love, the light, Goddess, etc).
There are forces within us that need to be contained and directed in order to set the magus in you free. These forces are within our Self but they are also all around us, externally. We tend to think of nature as being APART from us but that is a misconception. It is in fact a part of us. We actually are nature, so whether we accept it or not, we are influenced by the forces of nature on every level of being. So we take these forces, we seize them and direct them according to our Will. For example… electricity! You can’t see but it is everywhere, all around us. If you seize it and run an electical current through a bulb, you will have light. It’s the same thing with the forces within us. One must seize them and direct them to give us the results we want.
There is a lot of truth behind the theory that the world is literally run by a CABAL of powerful evil lunatics that want to establish a one-world super power. They accessed this Knowledge encoded in the Ancient Mysteries and have been using it against the average people for centuries. YES! Knowledge is power after all. As you can see, the psychos are running a muck with it. They’re holding on to every last bit of power and they’re not going to let you have it. In fact, they’re going to take all of your time away from you because as long as they’re in power you will waste away your days watching TV, working like the slave you are, spending the money you saved all year long on senseless holiday sales, oh! The toil is endless! By taking away your precious time, they’ve greatly reduced the risk of having masses engage in the practice of Self Mastery.
They’ve mastered their Self. They have full control of their emotions, their thoughts, their actions. The power that comes with knowing the Self is absolutely divine. This Great Work requires one to radically change and go deep within. It’s a mastery of the self through deep-introspective processes such as daily meditation, self-discipline, controlling your thoughts, choosing your words carefully, constantly examining yourself to the point of perfection, understanding how your body works and how the energy flows and functions within you… there is so much more that goes into this. It requires absolute dedication and TIME!!!
99% don’t care to do this. For them it’s easier to just stand on a street corner, burn tires and protest but that isn’t going to change anything. 99% will blame each other because everyone is everyone’s problem these days but nobody inquires about the source of the problem because nobody wants to accept that WE are the problem. Our laziness, our cowardice, our weak minds and faint hearts. We KNOW something is wrong. We KNOW the system is broken but so few of us have the WILL to REALLY do anything about it.
Losing our ability to love one another is, in my opinion, one of the greatest failures of mankind thus far. But what’s worse is that I’m not even sure if we’ve ever managed to reach a state of loving that inherently gives us the ability to see beyond any sort of false divisions. The divisions exist now, have no doubt about it. They have been deliberately created by twisted, maniacal heads of state, be they kings or politicians, in order to keep us from uniting as one. The sheer idea of allowing the masses to tap our full potential, discover our true purpose in life, scares the buckets out of the elites.
Perhaps there was a time when we really loved one another but I personally have no recollection of that. For as long as I’ve lived and as far back as I can recall we’ve always just been fighting each other, squabbling about our differences, struggling to prove who is right. Who is better. Who is superior. For instance, we’re still having a conversation about racism and yet 1965 seems so far back to me. Why are we still talking about this? That conversation should be over and done with by now.
If only we could dismantle our thought patterns long enough to see beyond this veil! Perhaps if we took a giant step back and observed much like being the audience of our own existence we’d recognise the immense power of the human spirit. Maybe, just maybe, then we’d realise that humanity as a collective has a tremendous power yet unleashed… and with it, the ability to flourish beyond expectations. We’d leap light years ahead of anything remotely imaginable in our current state of ignorant bliss.
You see, it’s not about race, it’s not about religion or any of that other bullshit load of crap you’ve been fed. It’s about humanity. We’re destroying ourselves, FFS. And why? Because you don’t like black people? You don’t like Jews? You don’t like gays? Get over it. In 100 years, we’ll all be dead and what will your grand kids have to say about you? Will they even remember you? Let me ask you this? Do you know the name of your GREAT GREAT grandparents? Probably not. And you know why? Because they didn’t do anything great. But you can.
There is so much that divides us, yet, we’re all pretty much the same. We all need water to survive, we all breath the same air and if I cut you you, as I, will bleed. We all love at one point and we all hurt at other times. Who doesn’t like a good joke? Friends? We all have them, or at least most of us. There are certain emotions which we can all share and relate to so despite what you might BELIEVE, we’re truly not so different, except perhaps on the outside but the outside is actually irrelevant now, isn’t it?
The human spirit is meant to be free, loving, creative, passionate, wise, curious and as our universe, it is without limits. What stops us from greatness? What keeps us from loving each other? Respecting one another? Why is there so much hate in the world? These are questions I’ve asked myself since childhood. None of this has ever made any sense to me. The first time I had my ass kicked in grade school by one of the biggest meanest bullies, I was shocked not so much by the blows but the reason she had for not liking me… because I had buck teeth and dressed weird. That was it. That was all. This gave her the right to humiliate me, beat my tiny body to a bloody pulp and traumatise me for life. I had to suffer because I was a little different? It didn’t make any sense to me then, and it still does not now when I see so much hate in the world.
Ok, you get the point, right? So, how do we fix this? There is no silver bullet unfortunately, but I think here is how we can start. First of all, there are plenty of open minded people in the world that are wise enough to correct their faults, (hat-tip) but let’s start with the people that are completely blocked and unwilling to change at all because they so deeply believe they are absolutely right.
Let’s take a full-blown terrorist for instance. The common terrorist doesn’t believe they are wrong and technically to them, we are wrong and he/she is right. We call him a terrorist because his/her actions are extreme and actually brutal to most civilised people, but in their mind their actions are justified (i.e., he/she is fighting to liberate his/her people from oppression) and we’re the brutal ones (rampant bombings, tortures, etc). First, it could very well be that the governments they’re fighting against are indeed oppressing them somehow so let’s not be so quick to judge. Let’s listen. Listening to each other can help resolve a lot of differences. Surely, some actions are incredibly difficult to justify, but keep in mind that we neither see or experience their lives day to day and therefore, we must acknowledge their feelings, grudges, qualms, fears, worries, anger, etc so that we can begin to put an end to it. We don’t do that enough. We just bomb people and then expect them to sit down and shut up. Why is that OK?
Most of the time, people just believe what the media spits out, but as people, we don’t genuinely listen to people on the other side, so let’s start as soon as possible. Let’s get a conversation going. Let’s talk, FFS, without all the hate. Without all the finger pointing. Just tell me, what’s on your mind. Why do you hate me so much when I’ve done nothing to you personally. Let’s listen to each-other, let’s talk and hopefully we can find a way out of this fucking mess.
Another thing I think lots of people need to stop doing is judging so much. Seriously, we’re all in one way or another fucked up. Nobody is perfect. If you think you’re perfect, you’re more fucked up than anyone else so just accept that you’re a mess like everyone else and it’s ok to be a complete disaster. You’re human. It’s actually quite awesome so just admit it to yourself, you don’t have to shout it out to the entire world, but be honest with yourself and that’s enough. There’s no need to knock anyone down to make others think you’re better. Just be who you are and literally embrace your fuckedupdness (that’s not actually a word, but hey… you get the point, right?).
Let’s share knowledge. Knowledge of any kind should be free. I commend universities that are opening their doors online for free, such as MIT! The more knowledge we share, the closer we move to improving the quality of life of all people. Sharing Knowledge also helps unite communities and creates a bond, so if you have some knowledge, be it a particular skill or ability, share it. Pass it on and create bridges with it. There are no set rules here so do it on your own free time or whenever you can.
Remember, we’re stuck with eachother for at least the next 50-100 years so let’s give the next round of freshers an awesome example to continue with. Life is meant to be beautiful, it is meant to be pure and filled with abundance, free from struggle, free from hate, fear and worry.
Community is so important. Let’s unite our communities and help eachother on this level as well. Uniting our communities and having strong leadership will make it easier to break down those divides. Get to know your neighbours! Buy local. Get involved and reach out.
Tap into your life energy. I call it Life Energy because I don’t know what else to call it to be honest but it can be anything you want to call it: God, Jesus, Allah, Buddah, it’s all the same Life Energy, the all encompassing, powerful, guiding, beautiful, loving, creator. We just have different ways of interpreting these laws of nature.
The sooner you can accept that, the better you will feel about your neighbour, be they Jewish, Muslim, Christian, etc. It’s all leading to the same glorious divine Almighty entity.
Though, contrary to popular belief, spirituality has has nothing to do with religion. Tapping into your life energy is easier than you think. You don’t have to get all those scented candles and woo-woo music. Just take 5 minutes a day to quiet your mind and breath deep. Listen to your breath, think of only the best, kindest most loving thoughts possible the whole time. Start there. 5 minutes today and gradually, as you are comfortable, extend it to at least 30 minutes a day. Your days will be so much more beautiful. I promise.
Guard your thoughts. Don’t let negative or bad thoughts build up. The moment you’re thinking something negative stop yourself. Remind yourself that you’re not here to judge anybody, you’re here to just be great. You’re here to be a better human being. You’re here to contribute to a great cause by simply being good. Very simple: when you have a negative thought, just stop yourself in that instant. Think of Ice Cream. That’s what I do, it never fails! I think of all the Ben and Jerry’s flavours (starting with Chunky Monkey).
Lastly, we need to remember who we are. Not John Smith the plumber but who you really are. We are eternal souls. We’re here for a reason and that is to the be the absolute best we can be, doing what we love, creating and genuinely caring.
Don’t you want your great grandchildren to remember your name? Do something positive that will help humanity thrive. In your life cycle (which believe me is short) make it a point to pass on true, worthy, life-transforming knowledge to your children. Make their lives better by exercising your full will and being a kind, loving, creative soul. Give them tools to find the same power in themselves.
In time you will discover and feel absolute satisfaction in contributing positively to this collective round of souls (which we undeniably belong to). This doesn’t mean you have to go out and save the world, but just know that every time you make a person smile, it makes a difference. Every time you take part if sending out a positive message, be it with thoughts or words, it makes a difference! Find the beauty, even in the worst ugliness and it will make a difference in YOU as well. When the sun is shining, stop to feel it’s warmth. When you’re next to the sea, stop to listen closely to the waves. If you’re in a garden, remove your shoes and feel the grass beneath your feet. Really take those short moments to just appreciate the now, acknowledge within yourself that it’s a brief point in time of your stay here and it becomes so much more beautiful all of a sudden. Our time here is brief, it can all disappear tomorrow so today, do all that you can to make every moment the ONLY moment and just like that you move closer to being a better human being.
The light we once shared long long ago seems to have gone, my friends, but it really hasn’t left us… we just closed our eyes so open them up again.
Wake up now. It’s time.
“Proof that Women are smarter than men” followed by the tagline “More men than women use Bitcoin.”
I was so incredibly annoyed by that headline that I didn’t even bother reading the article. My first thought was “What exactly does that say about me?” After all, I am a die-hard supporter of Bitcoin and all that it stands for. When Mt.Gox officially announced that it had filed for bankruptcy, all I could think about was buying up more BTC!
That night, I had dinner at a swanky Tel Aviv restaurant with a dear friend of mine who knows absolutely nothing about Bitcoin. I made a joke about someday paying for his overpriced (albeit fabulous) steak with only half a Bitcoin.
“Don’t you get it??” He scoffed, brutally slicing into the juicy sirloin. “Bitcoin went bankrupt!”
I nearly choked on the succulent, buttery shrimp. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. He actually thought that Mt. Gox owned Bitcoin! Ignorance is such a terrible thing.
A few days later he walked up to me with a grim expression, stuck somewhere in between disappointment and total awe — “The price of Bitcoin went back up.” He said. Yep, he could have made a cool couple grand had he followed my advice that night.
Shoulda… woulda… coulda.
There is something not right about us not wanting to embrace this new, potentially liberating, digital currency. Humans are curious creatures by design. We thrive on taking journeys into the unknown and exploring new ideas, testing our limits and truly aiming to go where no man has gone before. Why, then, are we holding back on Bitcoin?
What is it about this new currency that scares people so much? Is it because we’ve simply learned to love our slavery ? Why are we so suspicious of crypto currencies in general? And why the hell do we not scrutinize other currencies with as much scepticism as we do Bitcoin?
People argue that Bitcoin is “too unpredictable”, “unstable”; they say it is used by “criminals on Silk Road”, and what not, but consider this:
— Like all currencies, Bitcoin fluctuates, albeit more dramatically than main stream, centralized currencies. It’s highs are HIGHS and lows are LOWS. Although, statistically, it has always adjusted surprisingly well.
— BTC can indeed be used by shady types but the last time I checked, cash was favoured by hard-core criminals, drug traffickers, gun runners, corrupt governments, pimps and ho’s. Should we outlaw cash?
— BTC is not 100% stable. Then again, no currency is safe from collapse these days. The 2008 melt down proved that point. If it’s not enough for you, ask anyone in Greece, Spain or Cyprus.
— Hackers can access to your BTC account and wipe you out, completely. Well, it’s not that easy actually but for the sake of argument, hackers break into bank accounts, steal credit cards, ruin peoples credit ratings and get away with it, every single day.
I can go on and on but rather than focus on the negative aspects that are continuously churned out by the Corporate owned media, let’s look at Bitcoins’ more salient qualities:
— You’re cutting out the middleman. It’s a private transaction between you and the other individual you’re trading with. The current Establishment doesn’t like this for obvious reasons which is why they are doing everything in their power to stop Bitcoin.
— You can spend it wherever, however you want. Nobody can tell you how to spend it or what you can and cannot buy with it. There is no third party to censor your purchase so if you want to play poker or a few hands of blackjack online, go ahead! Enjoy.
— Bitcoin is a network and everyone that joins the network is a valued contributor.
— Everyone pays a small mining fee for each transaction which ultimately goes right back into the system to create more BTC. The fee is usually very small and fair for everyone. Learn more about BTC fees here.
— Contrary to popular belief, BTC is not 100% anonymous but, imho, it is anonymous enough to make it the safest option for e-commerce and mobile transactions.
— BTC is fundamentally about sharing. Sharing is a basic human instinct and essential to the survival of the human race.
— Bitcoin is a monetary revolution!! I don’t know about you but I am sick and tired of paying greedy banks outrageous fees that make no sense! Besides, did you honestly think we were going to use plastic forever?!
— Bitcoin cannot be counterfeited. If you LEARN about how BTC mining actually works, you will understand why.
— Bitcoin cannot be controlled by any one single entity, ever. If you LEARN about its genius design, you will understand why (so just forget all of that New World Order bullshit).
I absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, believe that one day, BTC will be a common currency. It will be adopted by BRICS, for sure, and someday it will be widely used and accepted by people like you and me. I’m not a criminal, or some corrupt government official. I’m not hiding from anyone or trying to hurt other people. I just want to keep more of my hard earned money.
My rational mind tells me that, as a responsible citizen of the world, I must contribute to this trailblazing monetary revolution. It could very well liberate us all from a tyrannical, corrupt, oppressive monetary system owned and controlled by a handful of greedy Robber Barons that have accumulated their wealth by defrauding, lying, stealing and riding on the backs of hard working citizens of the world.
If we could all take a step back long enough and allow ourselves to become the audience of humanity, I am certain that most of us would recognize the blatant sheer fallacy before us. It’s all there on the surface, we don’t even have to look too far to see that we are working harder and earning less. We are feeding into a broken system that is not even NATURAL! This beast has managed to divide us AND conquer us. We are living in constant fear of losing our jobs, our homes, our livelihoods and still, it demands more and more from us every single, blasted day.
When will this madness end? How much more media bullshit are you willing to suck up, regurgitate and spit out before waking up to the truth? “What truth is that?” That under the current monstrous monetary system, you are powerless; you are an amoeba, on a flea, on a rat and it does NOT give a damn about you.
Bitcoin was designed to give people back their power! That’s why it was created! Well, I’m taking back my power. I’M TAKING IT ALL BACK!
Stop being afraid of Bitcoin. Don’t allow yourself to be manipulated and brainwashed by the shallow disinformation agents that scattered throughout the world, reading more or less the same carefully scripted words from bloody Teleprompters’ that are controlled by a cold and calculated corporate elite.
It’s time for you to get damn mad and do something. Take action, educate yourself! Install a wallet on your computer, (nobody has to know) and buy your first Bitcoin. If you can’t afford one, buy half of one, one third, whatever you can afford but start reclaiming what’s rightfully yours. Start feeding a new machine that stands for true equality, true FREE TRADE. Bitcoin is a new tool that has the potential to unshackle us all from the grips of this single-minded Octopus that right now is sucking the very life out of us.
I’m not recommending that you invest your entire savings. I’m not saying that you should go out and buy thousands, but what I AM saying is that people should buy whatever they could afford in order to support this brilliant, phenomenal and truly fair system which may very well be our only true Salvation.
If you own a business, start accepting Bitcoin. It’s the easiest Merchant Account you’ll ever sign up for, trust me, I know. I proudly accept Bitcoin and encourage everyone that I do business with to adopt it as a payment option because it’s the right thing to do.
If you have ever wanted to contribute to some great cause or do something meaningful in your pathetic, glamorous life, NOW is your chance. No matter how much or little you buy, your contribution ABSOLUTELY matters.
A word of advice: When you do decide to buy Bitcoin, buy from a trusted exchange. Think of Bitcoin as the purest form of cash, which it is. Would you hand over your cash to just any shmuck on the street? Of course not. As long as you educate yourself and take precautions, you shouldn’t have any problems. Personally, I prefer to keep my wallet on my computer rather than with a Cloud based exchange like Mt. Gox. You can back up your wallet several ways which means that even if your computer dies, you won’t lose your coins.
